Elements are the building blocks of Smart Variables. They are wrappers around questions, section scores, other smart variables and also the original variables. The elements includes a name that is used in the definition to reference them.
This group is used when we are calculating the questions score. You can specify a group code on a radio or checkbox and if the group is set we will only include those answers.
